Community-Wide

Bullying Prevention

Our strength lies in our collective understanding and ability to take action - together.

Bullying will continue to exist unless we collectively work together to empower kids and activate the silent majority who remain silent and start leading by example and rid ourselves of the ‘do as I say, not as I do’ mentality. Whether we like it or not, as adults it is our responsibility to act as positive role models for the kids within our communities, regardless of whether you are a parent or not. Kids look to all adults, not just their parents or guardians to determine how to act in the face of adversity, how to handle stress and how to interact with other people.

Bullying is not isolated to happening in schools, yet we rely primarily on the schools to address it.

Sandy has developed strategies that communities can use right away. She speaks throughout the country helping communities to work together using her strategies to implement community-wide bullying prevention programs.
