WHAT IS A HERO?
A hero has been defined as:

A real person who, in the face of danger, combats adversity through feats of ingenuity, bravery or strength.

A person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities.
IN OTHER WORDS.... SOMEONE WHO EXEMPLIFIES WHAT SHANE'S IMAGINE-NATION IS ABOUT.

WE WILL HONOR OUR HEROES. THEY DESERVE TO BE RECOGNIZED.
The core principal of Shane's Imagine-Nation is to recognize and reward kids who have either reported bullying, stood up to bullying or has exemplified kindness. What have they done to make the world a better place? Have they made a difference in your community, or your home?

P.S. Acts of SELF KINDNESS count! If we are not kind to ourselves, it is impossible to be kind to others. Our goal is to help kids understand that we are all perfectly imperfect.... just the way we are.

Shane's Imagine-Nation Heroes
Angel was bullied so bad, he contemplated taking his own life. He bravely asked (and received) the help he needed.
Bravely spoke up about being bullied to get the help he needed.
Dedicates theater performances to Shane to promote bullying and suicide prevention.
Hosted a 'Slime Against Suicide' event to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention.
One of Shane's best friends. Alyssa is very active in promoting bullying and suicide prevention through her vocal, theater and dance performances.
